Wow, just wow! Nickelback just fucking rocked the place last night at Wembley Arena. I'm still buzzing and can't get the songs out of my head. I thought Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium was the best gig this year, but now Nickelback have topped the Foos!

I wasn't expecting them to be that good after what i've heard. However, due to it being their last gig of the tour, I think that's why they pulled out all the stops to make it a special show! There were flames raising from the stage and fireworks and the sound quality was astounding. That's why I love Wembley Arena, it's definately the best place to go for good sound. We were right at the very back facing the stage, but that didn't matter cos there were huge screens and we heard every word. Compared to the o2, we were up in the roof then and we couldn't hear a thing except a load of noise.

Chad was very funny throughout and spoke to the audience quite a lot, making jokes etc... He even made a joke about the DFS sofa advert that uses the song Rockstar. I'm sure you've all seen it! It makes me cringe everytime! I'm not sure which is worse, the DFS or Halifax adverts?! Actually, yes... the Halifax adverts, thank God we don't have to put up with them any more! It's a shame because I really liked the Rockstar song before the stupid DFS sofa advert ruined it for me. Now every time I hear the song, all I can think about is silly people jumping on sofas and doing really bad air guitar impressions! But it seems that seeing Rockstar played live has helped to bring it back to its rightful status as a good pop/rock song!

The only bad thing was the travelling home after. I'd never been to a gig on a Sunday before so we had to put up with Sunday services on the crappy trains. We'd just missed one when we arrived at London Bridge station and ended up sitting on a freezing cold platform and waited over an hour for the very last train home. Didn't get home till around 2am! Still... it was bloody well worth it!
