Hula aerobics wtf?!

by lightshadow @ 23.08.2008 - 12:52:04

Oh my God, I tried hula aerobics at the gym the other day and it was hilarious. I hadn't used a hoop since I was a little girl and I couldn't do it even then! It took me most of the class to get the technique right before I could make a feeble attempt at doing the other crazy stuff. Especially when we were ask to try one hoop round the waist and one going around your hand at the same time. I have no hand-eye co-ordination what so ever so there were several hoops flying across the studio! I think I will just stick to simple step aerobics lol!

Worst interview

by lightshadow @ 22.08.2008 - 21:09:38

I have just had the worst interview ever today. I feel really bad and uncomfortable about the whole thing. I am not going to name names or name the company, but I have to get this off my chest. At first it went really well, he asked me the usual question, to tell him about my education and previous positions ect... which I felt was pretty rushed. Then he went on to tell me all about the company and the job. He was very pushy, as though he wanted me to accept the job on the spot. Then came the awkward bit. He said he liked me a lot. At first that went over my head, but then came the really weird questions, very personal questions as well. I can't believe this... He even asked me if I'd had a full time relationship. Then he asked me about previous relationships and boyfirends and I was sitting there thinking "this has nothing to do with the interview or job, he's coming on to me." He even had the audasity to ask if he could call or text me.

That was it, I had to get out of there. I said "well you've probably got other people to see" to which he replied, "They can wait for you." I literally just stood up and marched straight out the door without another word. I will be writing a strong letter to the managing director of the company because the interview was not conducted in a professional mannor at all and I know I could even take it to court, but I don't feel I could go through with the hassle and expense. I'm quite glad that I lied about most of the personal questions he asked me.

The whole experience has just left me feeling terrible, but i'm determind for it to not ruin my bank holiday weekend. I've never experienced anything like this before and I am just dumbfounded. Thankfully I never recieved a phone call about a second interview, but I will be writing to tell the company about the sleeze bags they've got working for them.
